Afterschool Program
The Vietnamese Immersion Program Afterschool Program provides academic support, enrichment, and a safe environment for Summitt Elementary students after the school day.
Serving students in Pre-K through 8th grade, our program helps children build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and develop positive relationships in a supportive community.
About the Program
VIP's Afterschool Program serves Summitt Elementary students from Pre-K through 8th grade.
Operating Monday through Friday and following the Austin ISD academic calendar, the program provides structured academic support, homework assistance, enrichment activities, and supervised care in a welcoming environment.
Students are placed in groups appropriate to their age and developmental level to ensure they receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.

The program follows the Austin ISD academic calendar and is closed on school holidays and non-instructional days.
Enrollment Information
Enrollment is based on academic need and program availability.
If space is unavailable, students may be placed on a waitlist and families will be notified when openings become available.
To be considered for placement, families must complete the registration forms.
The Vietnamese Immersion Program reserves the right to refuse enrollment and services when necessary.
